I recommend taking Cleanse since Cass will usually take tp so you won't be at a Heal disadvantage. In the instance when the Cass respects your lvl 2 all-in, simply walk up and push her off the cs while you farm peacefully.Īfter lvl6, you must be wary of her ult. In both of these circumstances, you win because you will be able to chunk her or even burn her Flash. She will only have her E to fight back, leaving her with two options: continuing pushing for lvl 2 in order to fight back, or back off allowing you to continue pressuring her.

If you get lvl 2 before Cass, all-in her if she does not respect the lvl differences with your support. At lvl 1, you want to do two things: push for lvl 2 while harassing Cass when she goes for cs. Cass' weakest point in the game is early game when she hasn't purchased Tear yet because she will only have enough mana for one fight. So yeah, if you are better at dodging skillshots than she is at landing skillshots, you can clown on her.Ĭass is immobile just like most traditional ADCs, so naturally engage/hook supports will give her a hard time. Similarly, her r is a strong stun if you are facing her, but if you are fast enough, you can turn around and it no longer stuns. The tradeoff is that when she lands q or w, she is significantly stronger than most adcs. If she whiffs q/w, she basically doesn't do anything. Most of her damage comes from her e, but it only deals useful damage to poisoned targets. That sounds like a cop out, but the big difference between cass and a normal adc is that cass's damage is unreliable. Once she gets tear, she has far fewer mana issues, but she is still primarily good at all ins. She is extremely strong in that one fight, but she can't trade much outside of that one fight, and if she goes for the fight and you survive, she will probably be oom and you can push her around at will. Before she gets tear, she has the mana for one fight. Teammates can even become spiteful about it, so I sort of made sure not to blind pick it, and that we have an AD mid, top or JG assassin or marksman for the turret damage. In lane, you need to avoid or disengage all ins while poking her out. winning a game of league without a traditional marksman is very difficult. Any early all ins where I did not get a kill or summoner advantage I always considered a huge set back.īear in mind mana may no longer be an issue with presence of mind.ĭownsides are pretty self explanatory, and ultimately led me to put cass bot on the shelf. Even though the kill potential is there very early on, it takes almost all of your mana to do it, so before a tear, you really only get a single good all in, and kind of have to back if it doesn’t work. Because you can poke with your E like it’s an auto, you can act like an bully by forcing trades without drawing minion aggro. The other aspect I thought was great was lane control.

If they took a single Q before level 6, I could follow up for a kill every single time. The self healing from Q,E is actually really large in an all in, so I opted to take ignite instead of heal most games. CS is a breeze, especially at low elo where your support doesn’t know to help you farm under turret. So I actually put in probably 100+ cass bot games last season.
